Operations & Programme Coordinator
The Juno Project – Operations & Programme Coordinator Job Description
The Juno Project is committed to empowering young women to reach their fullest potential.
We are a small charity of 10 staff working with vulnerable girls and young women who have experienced trauma, or are struggling with mental health and wellbeing, across West Sussex. We deliver workshops in schools and the community, that create safe environments for young women to explore their experiences, their behaviours and the core beliefs that are driving those behaviours.
We share resources to help them become more self-aware, and to understand themselves, and their relationships, along with tools to improve emotional regulation, encouraging young women to explore their own agency and create powerful, positive stories about what they have survived, who they are and what they can achieve.
Everything we do is centred around the young women we work with: we share the voices of our participants widely, and with the support of alumna of our programmes, we are in the process of pulling together a youth advisory board. We offer flexible, remote working and most people work 2-3 days a week.
