We're hiring!

We;re looking for a part-time Admin Assistant to start in May,

This is a new position and, as such, we require a self-starter who is able to develop processes and systems from scratch, or adapt existing systems where necessary.

Role

·         Answering website and telephone enquiries

·         Dealing with incoming emails

·         Filing, ordering supplies

·         Preparation of reports and other management information as necessary

·         Some diary management

·         Liaising with schools regarding This Is Me programme dates and other programme related information

·         Liaising with facilitators, ensuring that dates are booked in and paperwork completed

·         Collating programme benchmarking information

·         Maintaining a basic database system for newsletters and mentor information

·         Collating expenses claims and invoices; passing to the CEO

·         Management of the website, with training, and addition of information as necessary

·         Any other reasonable task related to the administration of the charity and its work

We will provide training where necessary, including for tasks related to the programme, as well as the website

Ideal Candidate

·         At least 5 years administration experience

·         IT literate, familiar with Word, Excel and databases

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good telephone manner

·         Highly organised and efficient

·         Well-presented, and professional demeanour

·         Able to work independently, autonomously, and to a high standard

·         Self-starter

·         Interested in our work, and passionate about empowering young people to achieve their potential

We are growing fast so there could be opportunities for further hours, or more responsibility, for the right candidate.

Hours

16 hours per week, over 4 days, ideally 9-1pm or 10-2pm.

Salary

£15000 per year; pro rata £6000 per year
